Signal Over Noise: Why the BSV Builder Spirit Still Matters

A firm stand for those who came to build, and a message for the world that forgot.

Perhaps 90% of those who were part of the early BSV community have either completely left or turned against it.

Some joined BSV to build onchain applications; others supported those efforts in the spirit of creative disruption. And yes, some may have come purely to speculate. But most of us arrived with good intentions and genuine hearts.

Yet, the broader crypto world saw us differently — even though many of them entered the space chasing “easy funding” schemes or driven by anger toward the existing system. Ironically, some of these people are now wealthy and celebrated as visionaries. Even heads of state have started aligning with them.

There is no universal truth when it comes to justice. It is a human construct — shaped in the West largely by religion, and in China and traditional Asia by meritocracy. Some believe that “the court is justice,” but courts have always, in the end, served those in power.

Something feels off. But perhaps casualties are inevitable. Such is life — c’est la vie.

Still, those of us who came with purpose have not disappeared. We’re not chasing hype, nor are we here to serve the system — we’re here to rebuild it. What we stand for is not noise; it’s signal. The ideas we fought for — scalability, transparency, integrity — are not relics of the past. They are the foundations of what comes next. And when the dust settles, it will be builders — not speculators — who shape the future.
